Terms of Service

By commissioning a film with us, you agree to a small set of simple, fair terms. Read them once. They are written in plain English on purpose.

01

What you are buying

A single, custom-rendered short film (roughly 120-180 seconds), produced in 2D anime style, based on the four photographs and short brief you submit. The film is delivered as an HD MP4 with stereo audio.

You also receive: private cloud hosting of the finished film for 12 months, and a download link valid for the same period. We do not currently include voice narration, mailed USB keepsakes, or live proposal-night standby.

02

Payments

Payments are securely processed by Creem (creem.io), which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Creem handles the transaction, billing, and any applicable sales tax or VAT; your card or bank statement may show Creem as the merchant.

We do not see or store your full card details. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

03

What you must promise us

You confirm that (a) you have the right to use the photographs you upload, (b) every person clearly visible in those photographs has consented to being depicted in an artistic anime film, and (c) you are not knowingly using anyone else's copyrighted images.

If you upload photographs of people who have not consented, you are responsible — not us. We will remove and delete any film reported as a violation, and refund accordingly.

04

Things we will not make

We do not produce films involving minors in romantic contexts, nudity, sexual content, real public figures (unless you are that person), violent imagery, or anything that could reasonably be used to harass or impersonate someone.

If your brief crosses one of these lines, we will refund you in full and not produce the film.

05

Who owns the film

You own a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your finished film for personal, non-commercial purposes — proposing, anniversaries, sharing with family, posting on your own social accounts.

We retain the underlying rights to the rendering pipeline, score templates, and visual style. We will never resell or republish your specific film. If we ever want to feature it in our public gallery, we will ask you in writing first.

06

Delivery & timing

During early access, we confirm each delivery window by email before rendering begins. Public launch targets may change as we validate the production pipeline.

If you have paid for a specific delivery window and we miss it for any reason inside our control, you receive a full refund and keep the film.

07

Revisions

If your finished film significantly misses the brief and the four photographs you provided, tell us — a real person reviews it and either redoes the work or refunds you, decided case by case. We don't offer unlimited revisions, but we won't leave you with a film that doesn't reflect what you asked for.

We do not offer arbitrary creative direction — "make her hair more like that" — because the artistic interpretation is the point of the medium. See our AI Disclosure for what to expect.

08

Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your commission. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — for example, a proposal not going as you hoped.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (gross negligence, fraud, etc.).

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any dispute is resolved by binding arbitration in New York County, NY, except where local consumer-protection law guarantees you a different forum.

End of terms of service.
